Daken’s smirk widened. “No, I think she’s pretty willing, from the grip she has on my hand right now. You know, I don’t think I could extricate myself from her if I wanted to.” He raised their joined hands. “There’s no need to fight over this, Tony. Really.”
Tony shot off a blast from the repulsor aimed to just hit his exposed shoulder opposite of Jan. “See, I think this is where one of our problems stem from. You seem to be picking up all the wrong signals here.” Tony continued to approach with repulsors up and ready to shoot another blast, careful to aim away from Jan.
“Now just let her be and no one has to get hurt?”
Janet jumped at the blast, though, she knew it would be coming. The sudden jolt of fear, though she knew Tony would never hit her in a million years, was still enough to overpower the lust, just long enough for her to pull away move and grasp the surface tightly with both hands.
Daken was knocked back by the blast, but not by much. He shook his head, raising his hands. “Fine. Fine.” He looked over at Jan. “Just know I’ll be waiting. And willing.” He smirked. “Going to let me out on my own now, big guy?” He asked.
