Janet had been flying back to the tower after driving Hank home. It had been a while… maybe Tony had scared him off. Besides, she was too small to see at her speeds of flight. She whizzed through the city, a wide grin on her face.
She stopped, however, and put it in reverse. She grew to her normal form, and cautiously approached the body. The Yellow and black had caught her attention. What was that? When she came into view, Janet shrieked bloody murder, stumbling backwards into the wall behind her. She looked around frantically, feeling her throat tighten and her heart race. “Ohmygod!OHMYGOD!” She moved to pull out her phone, only to drop it into a puddle of nasty water. She poked her headset to turn on the communication deice to Tony’s suit. “Tony…?! Tony???? Come on.. come on….! TONY!!! ANSWER ME!”
She backed out of the alley, eyes locked on the woman. “TONY PICK UP!!!!” She sobbed into the com. She couldn’t even bring herself to fly away…. her mind was racing to fast. She felt light headed, her heart in her throat.
Tony would have considered this good night so far. Sure he was a little annoyed when he heard about Janet going out with Hank tonight but it’s her decision and if she wanted to spend the evening with Bug-Boy then by all means she could go. He was doing a few tune-ups on one of his cars, laying flat out on his back with tools splayed out by his hip. Music was blasting in the speakers, courtesy to JARVIS, and grease currently staining his clothes and hands. A good night indeed.
That is until the music had been abruptly interrupted and the screaming voice of JANET caused him to jump. He cursed after the following sound of hitting metal resounded in the garage and he pulled himself out from under the car quickly, palm pressed to his forehead.
“Jan!? Jan!” He hurried over to the communication device resting on the desk, thankful he decided to hook it up to JARVIS this time instead of just leaving it attach to the suit. ”Jan, are you alright!? What’s wrong? Can you hear me?”
Tony was panicked now, he has never in his life heard Janet scream like that and he really wished he never hears it again. Grabbing the communication device, he hurried to his suit, planting it into the helment once again and getting suit up.
“Janet, where are you? I’ll be on my way!”
Daken was couched on the roof, hidden in shadows. He smirked widely to himself, pushing out an extra burst of fear pheromones in Janet’s direction. He wanted her to be utterly, utterly broken by the time he was done with her, and he knew he was already close, though his plans were no where near done.
He chuckled to himself as she dropped her phone, basking in how he’d made her feel. This kind of thing was really what he lived for.
As he heard her calling for Tony, he leapt to an adjacent roof, climbing down the fire escape. He’d done all he needed to, for now.
